What will your job look like

  • Provide first-line technical support to users via phone, email, chat, or ticketing systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices
  • Set up and support operating systems, business applications, and productivity tools
  • Assist users with login issues, password resets, email configuration, and access permissions
  • Monitor and manage support tickets, ensuring timely response and resolution within SLAs
  • Record incidents, document solutions, and update knowledge base articles
  • Perform routine system maintenance, updates, patches, and antivirus checks
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities including account creation and device setup
  • Escalate complex or unresolved technical issues to senior support or infrastructure teams
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies, data protection standards, and best practices
  • Communicate technical instructions clearly to non-technical users
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain user satisfaction

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 0–3 years of IT Helpdesk/Desktop Support/Technical Support experience (internships acceptable)
  • Basic knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365/Office, networking fundamentals, and hardware troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with helpdesk/ticketing tools
  • Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Certifications like CompTIA A+, Microsoft Fundamentals, or equivalent are advantageous
