What will your job look like

• Develop, design, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications and systems.
• Evaluate software functionality, performance, usability, reliability, and security against defined requirements and specifications.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, user acceptance, and end-to-end testing activities.
• Identify, document, track, and manage software defects through to resolution.
• Analyze test results and compare actual outcomes with expected results to ensure software quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and improve product quality.
• Maintain detailed records of testing activities, defects, resolutions, and test outcomes.
• Develop and maintain test environments, test networks, and testing tools required for validation activities.
• Perform root cause analysis of software issues and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
• Review software requirements, technical specifications, and design documents to ensure testability and quality standards.
• Conduct reviews, walkthroughs, inspections, and quality assurance activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Support software releases by validating fixes, enhancements, and new functionality.
• Ensure compliance with organizational quality standards, software development methodologies, and industry best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes, methodologies, and quality frameworks.
• Mentor junior testers and provide guidance on testing strategies, defect management, and quality assurance practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 14+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, and system validation.
• Strong experience in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test strategies.
• Extensive experience in functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Proven ability to identify, document, and manage software defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Experience reviewing software requirements, technical specifications, and design documentation.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
• Experience using defect tracking and test management tools.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Experience conducting reviews, walkthroughs, inspections, and quality assurance assessments.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant software testing or quality assurance certifications are desirable.
